The client is interested in sacred symbology, and sought a mark that \"awakens the infinite world we inhabit and the cycles of nature\" and \"strikes a deep subconscious cord.\"")

The client is code-oriented (a developer and architect mainly in java) and is establishing an IT consultancy in that field. The mark — abstract and stylised — purposely echoes W and M within the form of a bat, tying the logo to the personal journey of the client. The bat is awake when others sleep, so is an appropriate and distinctive icon for this business that emphasises forward looking IT strategies.")

The Argo was the ship on which Jason sailed in search of the golden fleece. Here a circle represents the world, and a flat line the littoral of the ocean, on which Jason set out. In the centre is a gentle apex, meant to echo an A, while remaining feminine overall.")

Running with intuition, the mark I arrived to aims to convey the spirit and feeling of music. Harmony, sensibility, soul. Folds, peaks and lulls, the line art is matched carefully with a subtle mid-contrast typeface. The events Ikeen produces are centred around highly talented musicians, so I wanted to lean towards classic, but remain contemporary and approachable. The company is also branching out into events production in general. While the mark is intended to evoke the flow of music, it is oblique enough to serve its purpose relative to a wide range of events.")

Audiophile's releases have amassed over 400 million plays across streaming platforms, and have been featured by some of the top radio stations and music publications in the world.
The client in this instance wanted to update an existing logo. They had a solid idea of what they needed, but we also explored other directions. I ventured into 3D modeling and advanced techniques in geometric triangulation, first developed by mathematician Boris Delaunay in 1934. What emerged were some interesting art pieces, but to translate this to a workable logomark took a significant degree of simplification.
We settled on this cubist-futuristic head, part organic, part machinic. We paired this with a clean, extended sans serif font, to add gravity and maturity.")

The client wanted a meaningful but minimalist mark, and we honed in on this combined mark and workmark featuring a dimensional 3. Constructed from blocks - to echo blockchain - and doubling as an E to spell \"Wen\" in shortform (a nod to 'Wen moon?'), the branding is stark and precise.")

We wanted the mark and wordmark to be bold, strong, and somewhat aggressive, able to stand out alongside the branding of Ferrari, McLaren, Red Bull, and others. We settled on this mark that contains multiple layers. First, there is a sake bottle in negative space. Part of the bottle — the least amount of the bottle possible. Second, the outline curves up, like a Japanese torii (鳥居), the traditional gate commonly found at the entrance to a Shinto shrine, marking symbolically the transition from the mundane to the sacred. These lifted corners also look like horns, suggesting a strong, dominant presence. After arriving to the idea, the mark was gridded to ensure geometrical precision.")

SFS works at the intersection of play and feeling, with intentional and sophisticated designs. SFS cares deeply about building a better world through play. SFS wants to break into the hearts of its players and seed powerful joy-filled experiences, rich with a vastness of humanity and emotion.
Superfuture denotes a deeply optimistic perspective. Syndicate is used to twist the language of oppressive capitalism toward a humanistic direction.
Expansive, optimistic, advancing, caring, and human were key themes that emerged as we discussed the vibe SFS wanted to convey in its branding.
We settled on a mark that represents and encapsulates an expanding, futuristic horizon — a calm place of beauty, mystery, and potential. We also played with SFS in a creative way, to underline the studio's grounding in design.")

I worked on a custom wordmark and letter mark, and was hired to also create additional graphics for future brand assets.")

Senior Cairo-based designer, influenced by Rothko, VOMIR and Bill Viola. Great design is closer to sculpture than painting. I'm always trying to take something away — to reduce things down to their essence.
