The yinyang is closely associated with the concept of Qi and symbolizes the balance of opposing forces. Birds, charismatic animals known for their harmonious sounds, often are associated with health, relaxation and wellness. Their pointy beaks in the design are a subtle nod to acupuncture. Leaves are providing a frame and add visual balance.
The chosen color palette pairs different blues and is complemented by a combo of traditional serif, modern sans serif and a casual script typeface.

The final design features an adult and a young dog of different breeds. The background incorporates a stylized bone as symbol for positive reinforcement, local mountains and vegetation. Negative space is used to define the shape of some elements.

In reference to the brand name, the design incorporates a globe and the simplified head of a dog. A simplified cat head is featured in negative space between the two. The shapes are mature and serious in tone rather than whimsical or childish. A classic retro/vintage undertone helps the design convey attributes such as authentic, pragmatic, honest that capture the organization's triple mission of research, education and financial assistance. This triple approach is also subtly referenced in the grid on the globe.
A combo of serif and sans serif typefaces provides an aesthetics of tradition, authority and professionalism with a clean, minimal, modern note.

Logo design for a non-profit organization educating pet owners, specifically in rehoming their pets when no longer able or available to care for them.
The concept combines a simplified dog and cat head that look in opposite directions using negative space - a symbol for a transition, a parting of ways. The tone is mature and serious, as opposed to whimsical or childish, and appropriate for the weight of such a decision. The design has a retro/vintage undertone, a nod to the sense of \"home\", \"family\", \"good memories\" that is associated with a beloved pet.")

The icon incorporates a horse, a cow, a goat and a sheep as large farm animals and typical patients of the clinic. A dog represents the occasional small animal patient. A stethoscope as visual nod to the veterinary profession is incorporated around the sheep's neck, the simplified veterinary Asclepius symbol is in the sky.
The shapes are simple and have a retro aesthetic, thereby conveying a serious, mature tone that appeals to an older, male target group. Corners are rounded and friendly, the goat is playfully standing on the back of the horse, the sheep is looking at the viewer and the dog is looking back to group - all adding a sense of personality and warmth.
The chosen color palette pairs turquoise to a muted brown and is complemented by a combo of traditional serif and modern sans serif typefaces.

The icon is embedded within the brand name and features a simplified dog and cat gently leaning against each other, viewed from the back. The shapes are simple and with their rounded corners feel friendly. A stethoscope in the sky, simplified paw prints on the sides and a medical cross integrated with the letters of \"veterinaria\" serve as symbols for veterinary care. The infinity loop ∞ is subtly integrated in the tails of both animals to represent continuity and consistency, endless dedication and commitment of the veterinary clinic towards its patients, and the endless bond between patient and owner.
To complement the veterinary clinic's location in proximity to the beach, a color palette dominated by soft pastel colors and a set of friendly, clean, modern sans serif typefaces were chosen.

Logo design for Howling Goose, a dumpster service with dog Goose at its heart.
The final design features a retro aesthetic and the brand namesake, Goose, howling at the center. An approach focusing on the head of the dog only was chosen over a full body depiction, for it evokes a stronger emotional reaction in the viewer.

Logo design for a dog rescue organization that is utilizing photo and video content to find good homes for their rescues. The logo design features a gentle, sweet dog with no specific breed characteristics playfully looking through a picture frame. The lettering has a leash incorporated.")
