Client wanted a clean label with a play on their draft of a raccon/agave illustration, combined with rough and somewhat vintage typography.
They were happy with this design so it ended up being the contest winner.")

The old label vinery used had a blurry, long-exposure photo of the festival lights in different colors, I thought it was a good idea to grab a pen and draw some of the landmarks in vibrant colors, in a style that will look organized and clean yet maintain the \"carnival\" ambience of the overall design.
The client loved the label and it won the contest, so the Festival can start now as the wine is ready. :)")

Product name and the manufacturer's logo are printed in metallic foil, the rest of the elements in white and grey on a matte paper. Client's idea is to use a different color of metallic foil for other sauces in their porduct line. Bon appetit!")
:format(webp)/99designs-contests-attachments/146/146580/attachment_146580626 "This label design was done for an Italian herbal liquor/bitter bottle, the client posted a photo of a bottle I liked a lot so (as usual) I went on to createa 3D model for, and I thought a busy label would rather \"take away\" from the beauty of the bottle itself, so I created a clean, geometric semi-rosette which incorporates herbal elements and colors, with simple, ArtDeco style typography for the product name.
The client evetnually chose a different, organic looking illustrative design but as I really like the overal design I've created for this contest - I decided to add it to my portfolio.")

As it's actually a redesign of their former labels featuring the sun in the upper corner - I've drawn the sun as well rising up behind the hill as well.
All elements are printed with the use of metallic foil in different colors, against a matte black paper.
Asymmetric capsule with a cutaway is also used as it adds to the overall design and the it follows the form of the label.")

Label features an architectural sketch of the house, and the yard in front of it and the gold foil \"brush stroke\" is in the shape of the property gate, which the client is particaularly fond of as it's a property trademark. That made the label design a success and the client was very happy about it. Also, the additional label at the bottom is there for the production year only, as the client didn't want it to be included in the main label.")

I knew I wasn't going to win this contest by veering off so far from what the client's brief described but I still did it, I drew a fox tail with his ears sticking out from the bottom part of the label. I liked it, submitted it in the contest. It didn't win but I think it's cute.")
