I needed a trending up arrow to incorporate in my design. The R directed its leg downwards and so I thought this is a good place for the arrow to start off. I ended the trail at the D, so It seems as though \"Trend\" is exposed much more here. After all, the company is about trending news.
Then I finalised my design with some contrasting colours. I used a medium bright orange for the R with the arrow. Otherwise I used a deep blue (close to the royal blue).
The font used is code bold, modified at some characters for the design to retain its language.")

The two 'T's if put together gives a very close exposure of the thing I was looking for. So, I did some sketching and came up with this layout. I used simple Black font for the text. I cut out a portion from the lower 'T', so that the arrow is easily distinguishable yet the T is readable.
Finally I polished the design up with some soft gradients.")

I spread out the circle and readjusted the types on paths to get this view. This also gave me enough space to decorate the 'PC' in the middle top.")

The candle flames on both side is used as a separator on the outer circular path. The flowers on the side of 'candles' represent fragrance. I used mainly strokes to build up the basic layout. Then used the pen tool to crave out the 'P' and the 'C'.")

I am confident in being able to put mass ideas into the simplest of designs. My inspiration is the simplicity of the environment around me.
