The main purpose was for the hang tag placed on them for retail. I went with a simple, clean look that was vertical to accentuate that it would be hanging vertical. I wanted to highlight that it was 'BOY' and accentuated it with the splash of green.")

I thought that the round shapes in the elephant (trunk, head, back, belly, and tail) really worked with the \"O's, B and U\" in obvious. It must of worked, because I won this contest.")

As a professional designer of over 20 years, my approach to design is solution driven. I don't have a particular style, I listen and let the needs of the clients job dictate the approach. I feel a design should have universal appeal, but still specific to your needs.
