Create a bear claw-like logo that will double as an iOS 8 app icon for music startup TuneItch

TuneItch makes it easy for aspiring music tastemakers to discover and recommend brand new unsigned music. The Beta will temporarily start out as just an iOS 8 app, but will ultimately extend to other platforms including web.

I don't have any ideas about the font yet, but I most definitely want the logo to be in the form of a bear claw with 4 talons EXACTLY like the PNG that I've attached, with the main paw region having the #FFCC66 color. The remaining aspects of the logo, including the type/font, are all up to you guys. However, consider all of the following aspects in mind when you go about designing:

This is a music startup with a massive focus on beautiful mobile design, especially when it comes to these iOS devices: iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, iPhone 5C/5S, iPhone 6, and iPhone 6 Plus

I need the image portion of the logo to be designed so that I can easily use it as my app icon

There should be ZERO overlap between the font and the image - the font and the image should be two separate entities, but should still look really great when placed next to each other
