The director at Heartbeat reached out to me in need of a website refresh. Their current site was outdated and didn't serve their growing needs well. She wanted something modern looking, intuitive in its functionality, and simple to update.
I accomplished her design needs by using full-width stock photos, graphic icons, and different background colors. I coded, organized, and set up blog posts to auto-populate specific sections of the website depending on their tags. This approach made updating easy and kept the main design intact. I also incorporated a custom filtering feature so viewers could discover opportunities most relevant to them and sign up.
The team at Heartbeat love their new website and have been able to update it regularly, point people to helpful information, and keep the overall professional design untouched.
