Built in 1936 to serve the small East Cork holiday town of Youghal in Ireland, the Regal Cinema is one of Ireland's oldest cinemas. Closed in 2010, the cinema has recently been acquired by new owners who plan to renovate the building, upgrading the systems while retaining many of the original art deco style features of the building internally and externally, typical of the era it was built. The cinema will be host the latest Hollywood movies and art-house films in 2 screens with a third space to be a multi-use space.
