FitChat is a chat-based mobile coaching application aimed at the personal improvement / fitness / wellness industry. It allows a user to define habits to work on (e.g. lose weight, run a 10k, build muscle mass). Users encourage each other to reach their goals in one-on-one chat. Users can hire professional coaches or chat with their friends. FitChat aims to spread the following principles: 1) People ALWAYS come first. Technology second. 2) Nurture a positive & trust-based environment where people can work on their weaknesses. 3) Reaching goals is about making changes to your daily habits. There are two major types of users for the app: (Professional) coaches who help people reach their goals. These can be e.g. fitness, wellness, weight-loss, nutrition or business coaches. (Non-Professional) Friends who want to encourage each other to improve their life & health by keeping each other accountable.
